For the Love of Mathematics
We introduce the Into Math Graph tool, which students use to graph how “into" mathematics they are over time. Using this tool can help teachers foster conversations with students and design experiences that focus on engagement from the student’s perspective.
Teachers can use short periods in their classroom to build children’s experiences with and understanding of mathematics, outside of mathematics time.
This instructional activity gives teachers access to student thinking that can be leveraged to extend and connect their ideas.
