Meet our July Authors!

Authors Patrice P. Waller and Alison S. Marzocchi invite mathematics teachers to start noticing small things they say that can impact classroom communities in the MTLT Front and Center article, “From Rules That Expire to Language That Inspires.” Kyle M. Dunbar and Kathryn M. Rich encourage teachers to model themselves as learners and to use robots as authentic tasks with all students in “Math Is What Makes Robots Roll.” Stefanie D. Livers, a co-author of “Navigating the Uncertainty of Sharing Mathematical Authority,” notes that one of the reasons she wanted to write this article was to support teachers in facilitating classroom discourse.
