Kristin E. Harbour, KHARBOUR@mailbox.sc.edu, is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina. Both have collaborated during the past four years to support teachers, including co-author Fowler, and teacher candidates in choosing meaningful tasks, building conceptual understanding, and incorporating inclusive mathematics practices.
Lindsey Fowler, lfowler@tcss.net, has taught for eleven years at Englewood Elementary School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is a lifelong learner of best teaching practices and a conceptual mathematics enthusiast.
