Contributor Notes

Peter T. Malcolm, p.malcolm@virginia.edu, is a graduate research assistant in the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville. His primary interest is in developing software to help elementary and middle school students visualize, understand, and interact with STEM concepts.

Robert Q. Berry III, robertberry@virginia.edu, is an associate professor of mathematics education at UVA. A former mathematics teacher, he teaches elementary school and special education mathematics methods courses in the teacher education program. His research focuses on equity issues in mathematics education and mathematics instructional quality. Berry serves on the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Board of Directors.
