Allen, kasi@lclark.edu, is an assistant professor of education at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where her professional work centers on the preparation of middle school and high school mathematics teachers. Allen is interested in promoting problem solving at every level of mathematics education. She has coached and mentored K–grade 12 robotics teams for ten years.
