JOHN H. Lamb, jlamb@uttyler.edu, is a former middle-grades and high school mathematics teacher and currently an assistant professor of mathematics education at the University of Texas at Tyler. His interests are cross-curricular activities in mathematics, mathematics teachers' specialized content knowledge, teacher questioning, and the current testing culture in today's public schools.
